A groundbreaking work of science fiction, The Left Hand of Darkness tells the story of a lone human emissary to Winter, an alien world whose inhabitants can change their gender. This is a slower moving book rather than more of a fast paced thriller. I got a bit bogged down in the middle of the book, but ended up liking the book in the end. A thought provoking book.
