none	This is an accurate portrayal of what happened to Christians in Rome at this time in history.	The Roman, non-christian characters in the story engage in many activities that are all about fleshly pleasure.

	Historical accurately interwoven with the authors view of what life might have been like for these characters.

As usual, Francine Rivers has written a book that the reader will have a hard time putting down. Wonderful story of a girl who lives out her faith and draws others to believe. This book also highlights the fact that God has a plan for all our lives.
