Many people are brutaly murdered including several children. The violence is often vividly detailed Rape is often mentioned in detail along with in depth sex scenes

frequently used semi-frequent violence, but usually not too graphic sex is often referenced, but not in detail

characters each have their own stunningly realistic personalities The plot is complex, unpredictable, and addicting. You get a hint of the plot in this book, but as the books go on you realize that things that seem obvious are not so at all. nothing is certain. This book and it's series are amazing, one of my top reads.
I would reccomend this to just about anyone, just not children below their teens. By the time I got to this series I had read hundreds of books, if not over a thousand, and it was my favorite.
