Profanity Violence Sexual Content
Very brief use of words; nowhere near enough to elicit a negative response. Again, very brief. But considering the genre they are placing this book into, there isn't near enough. Almost nonexistent, unless you count needless amounts of angst comparable only to a work of fan fiction "sexual content," in which case I would rate it with a 3.
Characterization Plot Overall Rating
Characters are mostly one-dimensional with no real dynamics to their personalities. Very bland and filled with Mary Sues. The plot is simple: A human girl falls in love with a vampire. It's decent for someone who has never picked up a vampire novel in their life, but to those who have read vampire literature such as Carmilla and Bram Stoker's Dracula, it holds little value and, to a degree, becomes ludicrous. A poorly written vampire novel that should hold no place in the bookshelf of someone who enjoys the genre.
Personal Opinion: I find it offensive that her vampires sparkle, and have no earthly idea as to WHY someone ever thought this was a good idea.

The protagonist is barely described -- sh could be anybody, not a real somebody. Lots of pining and daydreaming.
The idea of a teen girl falling in love with a "good" vampire has been explored much better elsewhere.
