Synopsis: Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Amy
Profanity Violence Sexual Content
I don't think I read a single curse in this book. The book was based around violence; many children die, which can be very upsetting. The battles are sometimes described graphically, as are the wounds given and recieved. Only a few kisses happen; they are not described explicitly.
Characterization Plot Overall Rating
The characters were all completely real to me; there was no way they could improve in any way. The plot was amazing - something I have never read the likes of before. Completely original. This book is, in a word, perfect!
