Margaret George's "Helen of Troy" is a masterful retelling of the legendary fall of Troy. Helen and Paris are portrayed as sympathetic and likable characters, but foolish and tragic at the same time. The story includes supernatural aspects in that the Greek gods appear as characters, and human characters utter prophecies. |
