Low story to description ratio

For the first few chapters, I would complete a chapter and stop to think how much description there was and how little the story had been pushed forward. Yet, unlike some Dickens, I did not really feel bogged down by the descriptions. I did feel like I could almost see the landscapes that he was describing. |
